BLESS SOMEBODY ELSE speaks to the current season in Carr’s life, and to a message that he feels compelled to share with the world. The title track, and the surrounding body of work, was inspired by the life of Carr’s long-time assistant, Dorothy King, who passed away suddenly. “Dorothy walked by my side in ministry for 25 years. She was the most unselfish person I’ve ever known, and her entire life was devoted to blessing everyone she came in contact with. Her death was devastating to me and my entire team. She literally took care of us. It took time to heal our hearts, but we are back and ready to serve!”
