Powerhouse vocalist Tasha Page – Lockhart has taken the Gospel scene by storm since she emerged as champion of BET’s sixth season of Sunday Best.  As the first lady to sign to Gospel legend Kirk Franklin’s FO YOU SOUL Recordings, a joint venture with RCA Records, the rising Gospel star has taken aim at the Gospel charts’ top spot with her warming testimonial debut single “Different.”

The daughter of Stellar Award winner Lisa Page Brooks, and Michael Brooks of the famed male group Commissioned, Tasha was born and raised in the Gospel music capitol of the world, Detroit, Michigan.  Assisted by Kirk Franklin’s impeccable production, Tasha uses her soul stirring vocals to portray how her earlier experiences led her to overcome her past.

“Everyone wants to tell the truth.  That’s what this music does, it tells my truth. It’s about turning a mess into a miracle” she explains.
